D17 : Age vs. Tongue Sensitivity

Abstract The purpose of our project was to experiment with participants ranging from ages 5-13 and to test their tongue sensitivity by serving a variety of intense foods targeting specific taste buds and to see their reactions. In our experiment, we also timed participants to see how long they could bare with the flavors without taking water, this would teach us how genders, hormones, as well as age has an affect on whether they have a stronger or weaker palette.
