| Abstract | The primary purpose of this innovation project was to create a home based solar powered salt water desalinator. The secondary purpose was to make modifications to the project that would increase the volume of water evaporated. Modifications tested include changing the initial volume of salt water, creating movement in the water to maximize the yield of desalinated water and changing the design materials of the project to increase the temperature of the salt water in the chamber during the standardized trials of the apparatus. |
