| Abstract | The purpose of this project is to increase the efficiency of piezoelectric energy harvesting devices so that piezoelectricity becomes a viable source of electrical energy. This is to reduce dependency on unsustainable energy sources and to encourage ambient energy harvesting. Also, it takes maximum advantage of the direct piezoelectric effect, since it is not used to its full potential today. |
