| Abstract |
The purpose of my science experiment is to show people what type of music they should listen to if they like to listen to music while reading and comprehending. Therefore my experiment would show them that jazz music is the music they should listen to if they want to listen to music while still concentrating on reading and that pop music is the music they should be avoiding if there reading. Teachers could use my project to develop teaching methods. For example if studies that can’t concentrate on their surroundings they could listen to music to block out the rest of the class and focus on their reading. Scientist or other people that are doing an experiment or a study on music and reading comprehension could use my project as a study to use as previous research done on the topic. My project is also important because people could know what age groups are better at reading and comprehending and whether or not male’s comprehend reading better while listening to music or whether females comprehend reading better while listening to different types of music.
