| Abstract | The purpose of my project is to study the relationship between the roughness of a surface and its hydrophobicity. If the roughness of a surface increases, does it become more hydrophobic? This may have practical applications in creating waterproof surfaces. By creating nanostructures that increase the roughness of a surface, will we be able to make a more hydrophobic material? |
