Abstract The purpose of this experiment is to create a filter that is effective for removing the pathogens as well as dissolved solid matter from turbid water, and to make it so that it can be easily used and stored in households in third world countries. It is also to measure the turbidity of the water using a spectrophotometer, and to determine the chloride ion concentration.
