| Abstract | The purpose of this project is to create an antimicrobial powder wound dressing by impregnating cellulose nanoparticles with silver nanoparticles. We will also be looking to optimize the process of impregnating cellulose with silver ions and reducing them to create silver nanoparticles in situ. To conclude, we will be testing three different methods of impregnation first on filter paper and then on cellulose nanoparticle powder. |
