| Abstract | The purpose of this experiment was to test if classical music actually helped the ability for people to focus. Based on research there were many tests that state that a one piece piano solo have been found to actually help people concentrate. We wanted to test if this was true thus, our question is, “Does classical music actually help adolescent males concentrate?” We chose males because their is a greater population of male students in the grade 8 class. We also chose to compare it against how well they would do with their favourite music, because we had observed that students listened to music that they enjoy throughout classes, especially when doing math. |
