| Abstract | The goal of this project was to determine the relationship between several environmental conditions and Daphnia pulex’s lifespan. The effects of temperature, pH levels, and concentration of crude oil on the lifespan of Daphnia were examined. These conditions were selected as they are ones which could potentially affect marine organisms. As humans, we must be careful not to negatively affect the conditions of Daphnia’s natural habitat. |
