Abstract The purpose of this project is to create and test a computer program to help effectively diagnose common illnesses by utilizing data of past medical case studies, patient medical history, displayed symptoms and simple laboratory examinations. This software program is aimed at common people, who can use it to avoid visiting their family doctors for day-to-day maladies. This would result in savings of time for both the patient and the doctor, thereby relieving the strain on the healthcare system.
