| Abstract | Alzheimer's disease is a type of dementia that affects memory, thinking and behavior. Approximately 750,000 Canadians are living with Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia. Alzheimer’s disease alone was identified as the ninth leading cause of all deaths in Canada in 2022. The purpose of this project is to explore the role of music as a therapeutic approach in Alzheimer's disease. |
