Abstract |
The aim of our project is to assist patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in performing proper breathing exercises by maintaining good posture through the use of real-time monitoring via an Arduino-based system, our device will provide visual feedback to the patients. It will indicate whether they are breathing correctly from the diaphragm (abdominal breathing) or incorrectly from the chest. A green LED light will be displayed when the patient breathes properly from the abdomen, while a red LED light will be activated when chest breathing is detected. This system will serve as a real-time guide to help COPD patients improve their breathing techniques for better respiratory health. |
