Abstract The purpose of our project is to take a deep dive into what biodegradable plastics actually are and to see if they really are the future of single-use plastics. To judge whether biodegradable plastics are viable, we will look at the production costs, as there is no use of using these plastics if they cannot be produced and used as single-use plastics are.
