Abstract Understanding environmental changes, notably driven by climate change, relies on grasping plant traits' role in ecosystems. For instance, canopy height indicates a plant’s ability to compete for sunlight. Studying trait adaptations to changing conditions informs us of future climate change impacts. However, the vast amount of relevant data exceeds human capacity, prompting the exploration of machine learning's potential to unveil hidden natural world relationships.
