| Abstract | The purpose of my project is to explore the genetics and heritability of fingerprints. Just as other physical traits can be inherited from your parents, my experiment questioned whether one of the eight fingerprint-patterns could be inherited in the same way. I hypothesized that if siblings have more similar fingerprint patterns than two randomly picked individuals, then it is most likely that fingerprint-patterns are inherited. |
