Our Street Smart Safety App is an alert for visually impaired pedestrians to warn them of an oncoming Smart vehicle or electric moped, e-bike, etc. approaching. This app will facilitate and safeguard their everyday lives, whether for routine tasks like getting to and from work or more novel endeavours like taking to the skies. As such, this innovation of a smart app for the visually impaired illuminates a system that endeavours to liberate people who are blind from their condition and empower them to do their everyday tasks independently and safely on the streets.
