Abstract India currently faces a 2,500,000-unit blood shortage due to no proper blood distribution infrastructure. Circulate’s proprietary algorithm leverages a variety of factors and models (including a Long Short-Term Memory Network) to output where and how to distribute blood across a network. A partnership with the Indian State Blood Transfusion Council provided accurate training data and therefore the algorithm performs successfully in the simulation.
