G07 : THE FRYTASTIC FRY FIT

Abstract The purpose of the project was to compare French Fries from McDonald's, Wendy's and Arby's in the small, medium and large size categories across several factors. These include container volume, specific weight of fries (g/cm3), packaging efficiency (percentage of total container volume filled with fries versus air), relative value (cents per gram of fries) and survey results (consumer predictions of relative amounts of fries received).
