Abstract The purpose of my BASEF project was to integrate glucose and ketone monitoring into a single test strip. Keeping an eye on ketones is imperative in the treatment of diabetes, however, checking them is annoying as heck! Merging glucose and ketone testing into one fluid system allows diabetics to have access to a more complete and efficient picture of their health.
