Abstract The purpose of my project is to create a video game providing entertainment and a positive distraction to kids in care at McMaster Children’s Hospital. This distraction helps children with their emotional health in the hospital by reducing anxiety, combatting loneliness, and restoring a sense of normalcy. Pain and nausea can also be reduced when the child is focused on a positive game.
