| Abstract | Out of the 8.3 billion metric tons of plastic produced, 6.3 billion metric tons has become plastic waste; filling up oceans, landfills and killing our earth’s ecosystems. There must be a way to reduce plastic in these ecosystems. If there was a safe and easy way to reduce plastic by reusing, would it increase the likelihood of people reusing their plastic waste? Therefore, would it decrease the amount of plastic in landfills and ecosystems? |
