B08 : How Well Does Toothpaste Protect Our Teeth? Does it Matter Which Brand?

Abstract The purpose of this experiment was to test if toothpaste protects our teeth and if it does is there one type of toothpaste that is better than the other. Raw eggs were used in the experiment to act as human teeth as they are both mineral-based and can be cleaned and/or protected by the ingredients of toothpaste. Research shows that sugar in our mouths starts the production of lactic acid which break down the enamel of teeth and causes tooth decay.
