Abstract Research shows that female hockey players are suffering concussions more frequently and more severely than males. My hypothesis is that in addition to physiological differences between girls and boys, there are differences in the way that the game is trained and played that contribute to this risk. Through research and statistical analysis, this project will identify those factors in support of a science-based prevention strategy.
