Abstract |
The purpose of this project is to create a system that harvests the gravitational kinetic energy of electric vehicles (EV’s) as electricity, while maintaining a constant speed as an EV descends an incline (in relation to the incline). A control system will detect an incline and harvest energy from the motor. This system will automatically keep EVs from accelerating to dangerous speeds and increase range.
