Abstract The purpose of this experiment is to investigate the presence of antibiotic residues in beef and chicken from local grocery stores. This is important as there is growing concerns about antibiotics in meat that can develop and spread antibiotic resistance in humans. This is a serious health concern for humans worldwide. The Premi Test? test is used to identify the presence of antibiotic residues.
