| Abstract | Macrophage receptor with collagenous structure (MARCO) is a phagocytic protein receptor expressed on human macrophages. Currently, the ligand that bind to MARCO is unidentified. The purpose of this project is to identify ligands present on the Streptococcus pneumoniae bacterial cell wall that binds to MARCO. |
