| Abstract |
A big problem in modern society is the use of fossil fuel energy such as coal, oil and natural gas. In time these fuels will disappear, thus requiring us to use a different source of fuel. This alternative source is known as renewable energy. Examples of renewable energy are solar energy, hydro energy, bioenergy, wind energy and geothermal energy. Based on this idea of renewable energy it would seem fit to test out how well it works. This is why this solar oven was constructed to see how well solar energy works with household items to create an oven. The oven will be fully heated by solar energy. |
