Abstract | Eutrophication destroys the ecosystem and devastating to plants, animals and humans. Fertilizers are a contributing factor to algae blooms. I wanted to see if there were fertilizers that farmers could use that would promote slower and minimal algae growth. I compared two commercial fertilizers with higher phosphorus levels with two natural fertilizers with lower phosphorus levels. To see if a different fertilizer will produce different levels of algae growth. |
