| Abstract | Over 1.1 Billion people worldwide face visual impairment issues, resulting in a loss of $411 million in productivity. This project aims to solve that problem by creating an object detection system that can describe the surroundings to users, particularly visually impaired individuals. This would aid in daily activities, specifically helping to restore a sense of spatial awareness, and help them navigate independently. |
