Abstract | The purpose of this project is to test how well beavertail, ottertail, and whitewater paddles push water. I built a paddle performance testing machine that uses a motor to rotate a paddle. This simulates someone paddling a canoe. Each paddle will receive testing 15 times over the course of 3 days. These tests will determine which paddle is the most efficient paddle for moving fast on water. |
