Abstract The Purpose of our project is to automate the process of shoveling snow. To do this we created a self sufficient solar powered mechanism that melts snow allowing you to sit inside and watch tv rather than going outside in the cold to shovel snow. This could be especially great for elderly people, people with disabilities or injured people.
