Abstract The purpose of this study is to utilize the pre-defined scientific understandings of hyperbolic geometry, to accurately design and model an object with constant negative Gaussian curvature, using crochet. Through structural analyses, this study will provide a detailed understanding with regards to the physical characteristics and importance of hyperbolic space, to contribute towards a deeper perception of the earth’s geometric plane.
