| Abstract | While most people know that a magnifying lens can light a fire using sunlight, this project explores the different types of lenses and types of visible lights to see which pairs can light fires the easiest, if at all. The purpose of this is to learn more about the science of light and optics, and whether only a few tools can spark a fire anywhere. |
