Abstract | The purpose of this innovation is to improve communication accessibility for people with medical conditions (e.g. stroke, cerebral palsy, ALS, etc…) that may restrict mobility and limit verbal speech. This has been accomplished through the use of electromyographic technology that allows for communication to occur using just the flex of a muscle, enabling individuals with such medical conditions to express themselves. |
