| Abstract | Antibiotic resistance is one of the largest healthcare crises posed to humanity in the 21st century, however the link between these and antiseptics is yet to be understood. This project aims to investigate cross-resistance behavior between commonly-used antibiotics and antiseptics. Experimentation involves the antiseptic Chlorhexidine, to isolate resistant bacteria and test for cross-resistance with existing antibiotics to produce more effective drugs. |
