| Abstract |
The purpose of my project (Expansion of the Cosmos) is to abandon the traditional methods of calculating the expansion rate of the universe (Hubble's Law) and factor in dark matter and dark energy in further calculations for a more accurate result. I feel that Hubble's method could be viewed as inaccurate because calculating distance and velocity between celestial bodies is all approximate and estimates which leaves a large margin for error. This project could change the way that we think about the universe and its expansion. |
