| Abstract | An enzyme, Bromelain was extracted from the Ananas comosus plant and was tested for its effect on the Streptococcus mutans cariogenic bacteria using three different techniques in order to explore any antibacterial effects on the bacteria and to research useful applications of enzyme extracted from typically wasted portions of the plant. |
