| Abstract | Road salts are used so much during the winter times, we wondered how effective they are and how quickly they work. Also, if these roads salts work extremely well then will they have a profound or miniscule affect on plant and animal life? If some chemicals used in road salts have a negative affect on the plants we are testing on, (cat grass, a type of grass similar to that found at the side of roads) then there could be a major affect on the environment over time. |
