Abstract |
'Bring Back the Memories'' is a project based on how a person recollects when told stories or facts. When choosing a science fair project, I was interested in memory. I always loved reading stories when I was younger, and looking back, I realized I could remember the details of a book very well. When teachers tell me facts about a subject my class Is studying, it is difficult to remember the teachers' lessons.
For my project, I gathered students ages five to thirteen, and read them a story or told them facts from the same story. I then asked them five questions from the story to see if they could remember the details of the book. The hypothesis of my project is, when information is given in a story, or a straight fact, the information in the story will be remembered more because it may be more interesting. |
