Abstract | The purpose of my project is to determine if the 5-second rule is reliable and if different floor surfaces and foods affect the amount of bacteria transferred from the floor. The information gained from this experiment can be used to help people make a more informed choice before eating food dropped on the floor and if it actually contains more bacteria than food not dropped on the floor. |
