| Abstract | The purpose of our project was to discover the effects of Residential Schools on Indigenous people. We questioned if the traumatic impacts of the Canadian Residential Schooling system were passed on from previous generations, if epigenetic mechanisms are playing a role, and if psychotherapy can minimize the effects of historical trauma on subsequent generations. |
