As a BASEF alumnus, you know the value of participating in a science fair. You know the confidence that presenting your project and answering questions posed by judges and the public gave you. You may also know the value of receiving a prize, or the opportunity to present your work at the national and international science fairs.

BASEF nurtures the interests and work of hundreds of students annually. Students are encouraged and rewarded as their future work in STEM may contribute to preserving our planet and determining the course of humankind. For 60 years, BASEF has played an important role in helping students to develop the skills to go onto careers not only in sciences but in all fields.

The Alumni Network allows BASEF alumni to give back to the fair in some way. It will also enable alumni to reconnect or get in touch with each other. The BASEF Alumni Network has something for everyone – for the fair and for the alumni themselves.

So, if you would like to help current students and contribute to the fair in some way, please join our BASEF Alumni Network. Our page will offer several means through which you can contribute to the fair.

A Rich History: Tell us your Story

We want to draw on your knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm. And as our fair gets older we realize the need to capture our rich history through the stories that you tell. Tell us about your fair memories, tell us about the courses of your careers. Some of these stories will be inspirational for today’s students. Others may be funny or document the hard times – and the good times. And some might be downright embarrassing. But together, they define the rich shared experiences of thousands of participants, volunteers, and contributors.
